A new drive
Hello, my name is Joseph and I am a car enthusiast. Specifically, I love the Chevy Camaro and even more specifically, the 5th and 6th generation models. I was always a fan of racing games growing up and got to know a lot of general knowledge about certain sports cars. I was never much of a mechanic or anything like that but I was a motorhead nonetheless. It wasn't until the first Transformers move in 2007 that I came to love the Camaro. I knew what they were before the movie but when I first saw Bumblebee in sunset gold with black stripes, I was in love with the Camaro. It wasn't until years later, 2013 to be exact, that I was able to purchase my own Camaro. I'll be sharing information about my car, Camaros in general, and news about upcoming models and changes. Stay tuned and keep that motor running!

I wish your subject matter was broader. I cut my teeth on cars that were contemporaries of the camaro, but I tended toward luxury rather than sporty. I DID have a 72 LeMans Sport Coupe (my second car), but I liked the Electra, Sedan de Ville, Grand Marquis and Bonneville. Late 60's on up. Of course I was great at making them run, but I never did have the skills for the fine tuning you'd want for a truly responsive car like the camaro. I suppose that has a huge effect on my interest level. I couldn't get the tip-top performance required for a muscle car and I was too lazy to really learn.
ReplyDeleteI'm relatively young so my taste in cars tends to steer towards newer models. I do enjoy a handful of classic vehicles, such as the 1st and 2nd generation Camaro, Dodge Charger, Mustang GT fastback, etc. My father in law is Hawaiian and they're all about imports, particularly Toyotas. He is currently working on a 81 Toyota Corolla coupe. Turbo charged 4 cylinder. I don't have the time or money for a classic rod which is why I drive my 2015 Camaro. Plenty of power with a 5 year warranty!
DeleteYou seem to know ALOT about camaros. I wish I could have the knowledge about cars, I only know how to drive -.- Following you for future reference.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has their own interests and hobbies. Granted, there are a lot of things every driver should know about their own car, such as how to change a tire, check the oil level, etc. Things other than basic driving skills. It can save a lot on repair and maintenance costs. This will be somewhat specialized to Camaros or other performance vehicles but I will have some generic information regarding cars that will be beneficial for you.
